This week on Monday Night RAW, John Cena – against all odds and with the help of Sting – was able to defeat Seth Rollins, Kane and The Big Show to not only gain momentum going into the Royal Rumble but also was able to get Team CenaΒ – Erick Rowan, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler – their jobs back. It’s a good thing too. 2 weeks without the WWE can do strange things to a WWE Superstar. Rowan probably went back to his vineyard and Ryback probably curled up with a good book (The Secret) but what about Dolph Ziggler? If a Show Off shows off and there’s no one around, does he make a sound? Can one steal the show if there’s no show to steal?
In What A Maneuver, 3MBooth looks at moves that make us say What A Maneuver!
High Flying maneuvers are part Athleticism, part Science, part Art and part Luck. It’s why the phrase “high risk, high reward,” is associated with them. But wrestlers carry that concern with them as they fly through the air. Shynron, though, seems to shrug that off each time he takes flight.
Our introduction to Shynron was during Chikara’s King of Trios 2014. He competed in the 2 day mini-tournament for the title of Rey de Voladores or King of High Flyers. Not only did he advance to the finals but he won, after hitting this move:
We can’t count the rotations. How he’s able to get more than 450 degrees in this move is beyond us. He might just be a magician and this is an optical illusion. But that’s not the only time Shynron has defied math, gravity or logic.
Paige sticks up for Summer Rae, saying she was the only person who was her friend when she first arrived. Paige’s good comments mean nothing. Natalya “I can buy better.” Alicia Fox says I can buy better. Alicia Fox and Natalya start dancing around while Paige is upset they’re making fun of her friend.

We’re stil buzzing from Wrestle Kingdom 9, the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) / Global Force Wrestling (GFW) Pay Per View that aired live from Japan a few weeks ago. It could be the amount of caffeine we ingested to stay awake for a 2am – 6am EST Pay Per View. It could be the incredible feats we saw, like Ibushi’s suplex from the apron to the ring on Nakamura. It could be hearing Jim Ross call wrestling andΒ Matt Striker “mark out, bro” again. Or it could be that we may have already seen the match of the year for 2015 on just the fourth day in the calendar year. Whatever the reason, we were excited to see more of NJPW; they will have a weekly show airing on Fridays on AXS TV. And based on this trailer:
Dean Ambrose says he thinks he’s made a lot of progress, but he ended up breaking the psych down. Dr. Corbin is seen crying and complaining about his Father.
Dean Ambrose says he hopes he was able to help Dr. Corbin work through his problems and hopes he won’t go blind. Dr. Corbin signs the papers, so Ambrose can officially be in the Royal Rumble.
Dr.Ambrose should get Kane/Bryan to hug it out. #Raw

Dean Ambrose calls Dr. Corbin a spineless, gutless, screwed up piece of cow dung. Ambrose tells him it’s weird that he sits down to pee. Dean Ambrose leaves as Dr. Corbin continues to cry.
Lana thanks The Authority for firing Ryback and John Cena for failing to get Ryback’s job back. Lana mocks Ryback for having a job, yet choosing to be insubordinate. After a loud USA chant, Lana tells the WWE Universe to imagine how Ryback feels at home, saying he could get a job at a deli or some stupid place he talked about in his story.
Rusev takes the mic and trashes Ryback further, calling him spineless and says he deserves to be fired. Rusev thinks Ryback doesn’t deserve to be in the same ring as him, and that America doesn’t deserve Rusev as the United States Champion. Rusev calls Ryback lucky because he got fired and that Cena didn’t win his job back, because Rusev planned to throw Ryback over the top rope. Rusev is interrupted by Dean Ambrose.
