Natalya makes a toast at dinner, then JoJo talks about how awkward it is to be sitting next to Justin Gabriel. Gabriel and JoJo go to talk. JoJo tells Gabriel that he’s been confusing her lately. Gabriel tells her that she’s beautiful and talented, but the age gap is so big. JoJo gets the message then walks away.

The Bella Twins are on their bed talking about shoes until Brie realizes Nikki’s vibrator is right underneath the sheets. Brie jokes about having to take a shower and switches beds, while Nikki shows no shame in her little “Purple People Eater.”

Unprofessional Wrestling: Book It, Bert!

The 3ManBooth DVR records anything with “Wrestling” in the Title or Description. Good or Bad,
We’ll Share Its Unprofessional Wrestling

There has been a lot of wrestling this summer. In the 104 days of summer vacation, we were there for a good amount of wrestling events.

Not to mention all the watching there was to watch! RAW, iMPACT, Smackdown, NXT on Hulu … AND Total Divas! Who saw that one coming?!? The was a summer of slams well before SummerSlam, the biggest block party of the summer, even happened. Frankly, we could use a vacation. there’s still time just enough time. A quick weekend jaunt to Cancun sounds nice. And, according to the Travel Channel’s Trip Flip, running into Bert Kreischer could make a weekend getaway into an unforgettable experience.  Bert took two Minnesotans he found on the beach and –  like a Lethal Lottery or a BattleBowl – booked them a lifetime of memories in one moment: They teamed up to train and compete in their first every lucha libre match.

And it was there in a tiny gym in cancun that two vacation goers donned luchador and became “Jumping Jordan” and “Sexy Blue,” warriors of the ring.

Not only were they victorious (technically, everyone won?) but they also have a unique story to tell everyone back in Minnesota. But it goes to show that sometimes the best way to take a break from wrestling is to lace up and wrestle. It makes sense if you don’t think about it too hard.

Highlight Reel: Modern Beast

In Highlight Reel, 3MB will look at funny and interesting wrestling videos

The USA Network is heavily promoting Happy Endings Modern Family coming to its television schedule this coming fall. The Emmy Award Winning Sitcom is a natural fit for a network with the motto “Characters Welcome.” And the pairing of the Pritchetts and the McMahons on Monday Nights could not only give a new meaning to the word “family squabbles” but also it would let Ed O’Neill one again be the catalyst for pro wrestling fandom. if given a time slot before RAW on Mondays, with it comes a chance for Ed O’Neill to be the catalyst for pro wrestling. It seems that another cast member is picking up where Al Bundy left off: Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cameron Tucker, seems to be using Vine to find that pro wrestling / single camera comedy crossover audience.

Who knew that Brock Lesnar could be so funny, especially just by standing there? We all knew that he had that silent, scary demeanor down, but funny? Just in case you thought it was a one time fluke, Stonestreet’s second vine proves he also has comedic timing:

See? He even made his entrance without having to do the “Brock Bop” first. Could a Brock Lesnar appearance on Modern Family be in the works? Maybe Cameron could have a friend from his high school wrestle / cow tipping team come visit, huh?

Highlight Reel: Light It Up

In Highlight Reel, 3MB will look at funny and interesting wrestling videos

When AJ Lee appeared on RAW after the Natalya / Brie Bella SummerSlam Rematch, we all expected to wield her signature brand of cunning that we’ve come to love at ThreeManBooth. But no one expected her to channel former boyfriend CM Punk and unleash a verbal tirade on the Divas of Total Divas, the WWE’s reality show on the E! Network.

What is now referred to as the #PipeBombshell, the Divas Champion verbally eviscerated The Bella Twins, The Funkadactyls, Natalya, Eva Marie and Jojo, claiming their attempt to get 15 minutes of fame via the reality show paled in comparison to her accomplishments in the past year. She pointed out that even though those Divas wear $4,000 shoes on red carpets, none of them could lace up her Chuck Taylors! Now, we’re not here to pick favorites (actually, we are: AJ won; Natalya’s reply was second; everyone else: tied for third) but the Divas’ Champion deserves something special. I mean, the WWE Champion got a car on Monday! Luckily, Adafruit Industries might have just the gift for AJ:

Light up Chuck Taylors may not be the same as $4,000 shoes but considering that AJ shines wherever she goes, her shoes deserve to glow! Plus, a pair of light up kicks would go perfectly with her entrance theme, “Light It Up.” We could bask in her trailblazing footsteps each week as she skips to the ring. Unfortunately, our fingers are best suited for blogging, not customizing footwear for the WWE’s most prominent Chickbuster. Maybe the Divas Champion could enlist the talents of the Head Seamstress in Charge, Sandra?

So That Happened: 08/26/13

RAW begins with The Shield standing in front of the ring.

Triple H comes out to his King Of Kings music.

Triple H reminds us of what happened to Daniel Bryan at Summerslam, calling it the dawning of a new era. After replaying the footage of Daniel Bryan getting screwed, Triple H says that was best for business and there was nothing personal about the attack. Triple H shows the footage of Daniel Bryan’s attack from last week’s RAW and admits that his attack was personal.

Triple H says the reason he embarrassed and humiliated Daniel Bryan was because of Bryan’s actions. Triple H says every action has a consequence and Bryan made it personal by insulting his wife, his family and him. Triple H claims he’s willing to be the bigger man and move on and wants to be a business man with Daniel Bryan and the choice is Bryan’s.

Triple H segways from business to ratings claiming that they went through the roof and that business is booming because of the new face of the WWE, Randy Orton. Triple H asks the WWE Universe to show respect as he brings out their champion and future, Randy Orton.

Triple H congratulates Randy Orton for breathing new life into the WWE and the WWE Championship. Triple H says as COO, he likes to award people who excel and are not afraid to grab the brass ring and run with it. Triple H tells Randy Orton that he got him a gift and paid for it out of his own pocket.

Bryan says despite not being any of those things, the people have believed and supported him and we have no idea how much that means to him.

Next, Daniel Bryan thanks John Cena for allowing him the opportunity to be in the Main Event at Summerslam because a guy like Triple H would have never given that opportunity.

Daniel Bryan thanks Triple H for ending his charade and finally showing his true colors at Summerslam. Bryan thanks Triple H for proving that his view of what’s “best for business” is just as narrow-minded and misguided as Mr. McMahon’s. Bryan mocks Triple H for going from a rebel in the leather jack to a sellout in a suit. Randy Orton defends Triple H and demands that “Dan” show respect to the COO and Face of the WWE.

Daniel Bryan mocks Randy Orton’s role as the Face Of The WWE then tells Orton that at Night Of Champions, not only will Orton’s face be re-arranged, but Triple H’s vision of the future will be re-arranged as well because Bryan will become the new “WWE Champion.” After a “YES!” chant, Triple H calls Bryan’s “fantasy” adorable then calls him Jiminy Cricket. And if that wasn’t enough, Triple H starts by singing “When You Wish Upon A Star” to Bryan.

Triple H tells Daniel Bryan that in the real world, it makes a difference who you are. Triple H says Daniel Bryan is not an A Player and that Randy Orton is an A player. Triple H calls Daniel Bryan a B then gives him an opportunity to prove himself to the world. Triple H puts Daniel Bryan in a gauntlet match against Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and then “The Gift Of Roman Reigns.”
