Everybody Gets One: The Big Show

In Everybody Gets One, 3ManBooth eats a little bit of crow

When you come to 3ManBooth.com, you’ll learn 3 things pretty quickly: 1) We’re huge fans of Pro Wrestling. 2) We’re huge fans of The Simpsons. 3) We’re not fans of the Big Show. We started the Twitter Hashtag #BigShowRuinsThings. We even Boo’ed that Man! But even we have to give credit where credit is due. On this week’s Smackdown, the Big Show was part of a 10-man tag main event. On one side was Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Corporate Kane and Seth Rollins. On the other side was Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, John Cena, Mark Henry  and the Big Show. While you expect a match like that to have all sorts of action: Seth Rollins flew around the ring, John Cena ran everyone over with shouldertackles, and Bray Wyatt creeping everyone out:

But, as far as we’re concerned, the moment of the night went to the Big Show.

Snapshots: Twin Magic

In Snapshots, Three Man Booth searches for images to share.

Wrestling is a family affair. We’ve not only seen several generations of wrestlers but we’ve also seen several siblings through the years. The Harts had brothers Bret and Owen (and, one time at the Survivor Series 1994, Bruce and Keith) along with brothers-in-law ‘The British Bulldog’ Davey Boy Smith and Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart. There’s tag team brothers like Rick and Scott Steiner, Matt and Jeff Hardy,  Nick and Matt Jackson aka The Young Bucks and Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, The Dudley Boys (Papa Dudley was a Rolling Stone). But rarely have we seen twins. Right now, in the WWE, there are 2 sets of Twins: Jimmy and Jey Uso and Nikki and Brie Bella. Back in January WWE’s Instagram account captured, the wonder of this double twin magic

I Was There: Starrcade Art Show

In “I Was There” 3MB provides a first hand account of a things we attend.

We mentioned a few weeks ago that there was a Gallery show opening that was devoted to professional wrestling. ConArtistNYC put on an exhibit called Starrcade whose name was inspired by the WCW Pay Per View of the same name. It was considered the Wrestlemania of the South.

3MB_StarrcadeIncidentally, Bruce White put on an exhibit with Gallery 1988 called Velvetmania, taking its name from the WWE’s big annual show. Unlike Velvetmania, which was a one-man show, Starrcade was a multi-artist exhibit and the chosen by the artist themselves which allowed for different interpretations on the central idea of “Pro Wrestling. Go!”

The Tower of Power Too Sweet to be Sour

Some artists chose to depict as many Wrestlers as possible in a single piece, such as this collection of WWF and WCW stars from the 80’s and 90’s like The Iron Sheik, Crow Sting and Bret the Hitman Hart.
