This week on Monday Night RAW, John Cena – against all odds and with the help of Sting – was able to defeat Seth Rollins, Kane and The Big Show to not only gain momentum going into the Royal Rumble but also was able to get Team CenaΒ – Erick Rowan, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler – their jobs back. It’s a good thing too. 2 weeks without the WWE can do strange things to a WWE Superstar. Rowan probably went back to his vineyard and Ryback probably curled up with a good book (The Secret) but what about Dolph Ziggler? If a Show Off shows off and there’s no one around, does he make a sound? Can one steal the show if there’s no show to steal?
In What A Maneuver, 3MBooth looks at moves that make us say What A Maneuver!
High Flying maneuvers are part Athleticism, part Science, part Art and part Luck. It’s why the phrase “high risk, high reward,” is associated with them. But wrestlers carry that concern with them as they fly through the air. Shynron, though, seems to shrug that off each time he takes flight.
Our introduction to Shynron was during Chikara’s King of Trios 2014. He competed in the 2 day mini-tournament for the title of Rey de Voladores or King of High Flyers. Not only did he advance to the finals but he won, after hitting this move:
We can’t count the rotations. How he’s able to get more than 450 degrees in this move is beyond us. He might just be a magician and this is an optical illusion. But that’s not the only time Shynron has defied math, gravity or logic.
Paige sticks up for Summer Rae, saying she was the only person who was her friend when she first arrived. Paige’s good comments mean nothing. Natalya “I can buy better.” Alicia Fox says I can buy better. Alicia Fox and Natalya start dancing around while Paige is upset they’re making fun of her friend.

We’re stil buzzing from Wrestle Kingdom 9, the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) / Global Force Wrestling (GFW) Pay Per View that aired live from Japan a few weeks ago. It could be the amount of caffeine we ingested to stay awake for a 2am – 6am EST Pay Per View. It could be the incredible feats we saw, like Ibushi’s suplex from the apron to the ring on Nakamura. It could be hearing Jim Ross call wrestling andΒ Matt Striker “mark out, bro” again. Or it could be that we may have already seen the match of the year for 2015 on just the fourth day in the calendar year. Whatever the reason, we were excited to see more of NJPW; they will have a weekly show airing on Fridays on AXS TV. And based on this trailer:
The Authority hypes the contract signing between John Cena, Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar tonight for their match at the Royal Rumble. Stephanie McMahon reminds the WWE Universe that you can get the Royal Rumble on the WWE Network for just $9.99.
If the crowd responded to Stephanie with "Free" instead of "9.99," would it have been true?#RAW
Triple H introduces the man, who was used by Seth Rollins, then makes fun of John Cena for being unable to get his friends back. Triple H calls John Cena, “Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Broken Promises” then introduces him.
I have the idea that Brock could easily swallow Rollins/Cena and spit them back out as eggs similar to Yoshi's World. #Raw

Paul Heyman says as much as he would love to take credit for bringing back The Authority, from plan to manipulation, to putting all the pieces together, it was all Seth Rollins. Heyman says Rollins had a plan, which was endorsed by Paul Heyman, which was desperately needed by The Authority, which was bad for John Cena, which is good for Brock Lesnar, which is Best For Business.
You know, there are less complicated ways to defeat John Cena. #RAW
Seth Rollins thanks Paul Heyman, but Heyman tells Rollins he wasn’t done yet. Paul Heyman tells Seth Rollins that Brock Lesnar has conquered anything in his path, which includes everything that will come before him at the Royal Rumble PPV.
Seth Rollins asks Paul Heyman if he’s upset about the triple threat match. Heyman reveals he is, because it could end up being a double cross, where Brock Lesnar does not have to be pinned or tapped out in order to lose the Championship. Rollins tells Heyman that Brock Lesnar has a list of accomplishment, then asks if Brock Lesnar can handle a triple threat match. Heyman tries to talk, but Rollins cuts him off saying he wasn’t finished yet.
"A Triple Threat Can Also Be a Double Cross." THAT'S Why Brock Lesnar has Paul Heyman as his Advocate. Paul does the thinking! #RAW
Seth Rollins says he doesn’t have the list of accomplishments that Brock Lesnar does, but Lesnar doesn’t have his accomplishments either. Rollins hypes himself up as the creatory and destroyer of The Shield, winning being Mr. Money In The Bank, the guy who single handedly brought back The Authority and the guy who pinned John Cena ‘s shoulders to the mat, making sure Rowan, Ryback and Ziggler aren’t in the WWE anymore. Rollins tells John Cena and Brock Lesnar that at the Royal Rumble, wherether it’s Plan A or Plan B (Money In The Bank), he is walking out of the Royal Rumble as WWE Champion.
Brock Lesnar takes the mic and calls Seth Rollins, Mr. Curbstomp. Lesnar says he conquered The Undertaker, Triple H and John Cena, and he will damn sure conquer Seth Rollins. defends himself.
John Cena tells Brock Lesnar that he doesn’t have to get pinned at the Royal Rumble to lose the Championship, but he will get pinned at the Royal Rumble. Cena tells Triple H that he didn’t do Seth Rollins a favor by putting him in his match. Cena vows that he and Lesnar will kick Rollins ass, then he’s going to kick Lesnar’s ass. Cena signs the contract, then Brock Lesnar signs the contract.
Seth Rollins reminds John Cena that his plans usually fail, bringing up The Authority’s return and Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan still being fired. Rollins says at the Royal Rumble, it will be Strike 3.
"Dolph Ziggler & Company"

The trio of Dolph Ziggler, The Ryback and Erick Rowan should forever be known as "Dolph and Company." #RAW
Seth Rollins tries to attack John Cena, but John Cena pummels him in the corner. Brock Lesnar takes out both John Cena and Seth Rollins with a German Suplex.
