So That Happened: Tweets of the Week (05/02-05/14)

In our earlier years, our RAW and Total Divas Recaps were filled with your tweets and reactions to WWE’s weekly shows. As fun as that was, life got in the way and we couldn’t do the RAW/Total Divas Recaps in that format anymore.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy your tweets! Your tweet are funny and deserve to be shared. In order to do that, we are introducing a new section of So That Happened called: Tweets Of The Week!

(We’re gonna update this. Promise)

We were going to do this last Sunday, but that whole Kings of Leon thing got in the way and he needed to be dragged. To make up for that, this week, we’ll be spotlighting YOUR tweets from May 2nd-May 14th. Enjoy!

Snapshots: You’ll never look at TJP the same again

TJ Perkins or TJP as he likes to be called, is a controversial Superstar in WWE. Last year, TJP won the Cruiserweight Classic through  hard-work, determination and dabbing.

People loved him.

This year, TJP was able to show off more of his personality. His entrance changed to a jaunty 8-bit video game tune, he wore nerdy glasses, and he kept dabbing.

People hated him.

Recently, TJP has embraced the hate as he’s gone from cool nerd to Neville’s apprentice. But thanks to this meme from The Wrestle Nation, we now see TJP as another strong anime character who was loved, but is now despised.

Highlight Reel: Why The Rock would make a great President

We’re not very political on Three Man Booth. We don’t talk wrestling politics. We don’t talk regular politics. We don’t talk about Veep (It’s a great show. You should watch it,)  It’s not our thing. But when you combine wrestling and politics, we’re all in.

Recently, Former WWE Superstar and everyone’s favorite person, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stated that he is seriously considering a run for President Of The United States. As you already know, stranger things (also a good show) have happened and stranger WWE alum have already had careers in politics. If Kane can run for Mayor, if Jesse Ventura can run for Governor, if Mike Haggar can be Mayor of Earth, why not The People’s Champ?

So That Happened: The SmackDown Moment

This week, WWE seems like it has been in slow motion. It seemed as if this week’s SmackDown Taped Earlier In the Day Live was the Go-Home show, but we still have another week of build left. Regardless, even when the shows are dragging, there is always a moment on the show that sticks out. What was the moment this week?

Was it Becky Lynch getting Charlotte and Naomi on the same page?

Was it The New Day’s video game promo?

Was it Breezango for the second week in a row?

As great as those were, none of these were the SmackDown moment of the week.

The SmackDown Moment of the week goes to….

So That Happened: The RAW Moment: 05/08/17

When RAW goes across the pond to the U.K, you never know what to expect.

Sometimes you get a dream match like The Shield vs. The Undertaker and Team Hell No.

Or a match you didn’t appreciate because you were waiting for Edge vs. Randy Orton and it never came a classic MOTY candidate between John Cena and Shawn Michaels.

And other times, you get R-Truth attacking John Morrison and taking up smoking.

The fact that we’re talking about past London RAW means this week’s RAW wasn’t very eventful. However, we still need to find a moment of the week.
