Highlight Reel: Chris Jericho vs. Fandango Preview
In Highlight Reel, 3MB will check out funny and interesting videos.
Wrestlemania 29 has many marquee matches this year, but one of the matches fans are skeptical about is Chris Jericho vs. Fandango. It’s not that fans don’t trust Y2J. They love him. It’s the fact that Fandango, often confused with his cousin Johnny Curtis, hasn’t had a match yet on WWE TV. We don’t know much about Fandango, so we’re curious to check him out, but just in case you’re not completely sold on the mach yet, ReyFearsPsychosis created a little recap of the Jericho/Fandango feud so far.
If that doesn’t get you pumped for Chris Jericho vs. Fandango, then maybe you need to keep calm and let the A’s breatheeeeeee!

Highlight Reel: Pop And Wrestling?
In Highlight Reel, 3MB will share funny and interesting wrestling videos.
When the WWF ventured into merging Wrestling with Rock, we thought that was the end of it. It’s been 30 years but the WWF WWE brand has now made strides into all genres of music: Rock, Hip Hop, Modern Rock, Country and Alternative Rock. As a sign of Wrestling’s versatility, several WWE Superstars tapped into their Pop roots while on the Wrestlemania Press Tour. Wrestler / FOZZY Frontman / Robot Pugilist Host Chris Jericho displayed his pop sensibilities during a visit to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, serenading the audience with a medley of Boy Band songs with the words replaced with “Jean Claude Van Damme.”
The Roots were not the only musicians that blended well with the velvet tones of the WWE Superstars. Z100 challenged several of the WWE’s locker room to do their version rendition of Taylor Swift’s “22.” If you didn’t like Taylor Swift before, you probably still won’t. But you’ll probably appreciate the commitment that the Superstars put forth. Well, maybe not CM Punk’s.
Oddly, Punk’s sounds the best because he did whatever he wanted to. Instead of singing the words, he went the way of William Shatner and performed a spoken word rendition of the Taylor Swift jam. That’s why CM Punk is The Best In The World. Take notes, Taylor.

Highlight Reel: Maria "The Real Deal" Menounos
In Highlight Reel, 3MB will check out funny and interesting wrestling videos.
When it comes to the WWE Hall of Fame, sometimes there’s more speculation over whose doing the induction than who is being inducted. Such is the case with this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class. There have been a few surprising announcements. Arnold Schwarzenegger is inducting Bruno Sammartino; Trish Stratus asked Stephanie McMahon to induct her via Twitter. But the most surprising announcement probably has to do with Bob Backlund. The Wrestler with second longest WWF Championship reign – 6 years! – will be inducted by … the former Host of Access Hollywood / the current Host of Extra, Maria Menounos?
First of all, that’s not how the WWE spells “Access;” it’s “Axxess.” Secondly, her? why? is it because she is undefeated in WWE in-ring competition (3 – 0, including Wrestlemania 28)?

Or Is it because Maria Menuonos wore a Bob Backlund t-shirt to SummerSlam?

Well, yes actually. It turns out that not only are Maria Menounos and Bob Backlund friends, but Backlund also showed Maria how to do a cross face chicken wing, which she demonstrated on Michael Strahan when she guest co-hosted the Live with Kelly and Michael.
Story Checks Out
Between the Brawling Buddies, Trumpamania, The Rock presenting Michael Strahan with a WWE Championship and now Menounos squaring off with Strahan, Live with Kelly and Michael is well on its way to being considered for the Hall of Fame, at least as a presenter. Maybe Maria can teach them the ropes.

WWE had a Press Conference at Radio City Music Hall about Wrestlemania 29. Based on the attire of John Cena and The Rock, it seemed like it was a Justin Timberlake kind of event: decked in suit and tie, ready to leave it in the ring on Sunday. That is, except for CM Punk. Called a “pedestrian” by John Cena during the event, Punk either didn’t get the memo or more likely, got the memo and ripped it up. He wore a trademark CM Punk hoodie and a t-shirt. And not just any t-shirt, the t-shirt of fellow WWE Superstar Antonio Cesaro:
Punk sends a stronger message with a t-shirt than others do decked out in a three piece suit. Is Punk showing his support of the US Champion? Probably; Cesaro’s an amazing athlete who is inexplicably off the Wrestlemania 29 line-up. Who wouldn’t want to see him on the grandest stage of them all?
But this isn’t the first time we’ve tried to decipher the message behind CM Punk’s t-shirt choice. At last year’s Wrestlemania 28 conference, Punk shocked everyone by wearing the t-shirt of everyone’s favorite native Chicagoian, Independent Wrestler and Podcaster, Colt Cabana:

Was wearing a “Colt of Personality” shirt Punk’s way of putting Colt back on the WWE Radar? Or Was he trying to help his friend move a couple of pieces of merchandise? We don’t know. Maybe Punk just really likes Puns. Of course, all these questions started on the night when Punk infamously sat down at the top of the RAW ramp and eviscerated – verbally – the WWE.

He was wearing a Stone Cold Steve Austin T-shirt! What did it mean? Was this his “Austin 3:16” Speech? Was that the message behind it? Turns out, CM Punk wore that t-shirt because it was the cleanest one he had. And all the CM Punk shirts they had in the back were too large. But hey, that could be a story too. He does like to keep us guessing. Regardless, CM Punk keeps everyone on edge even when he’s not wrestling, even when he’s not even talking. All he has to do is pick up a piece of cotton.

Celebrity Apprentice being back on the air can only be good for the WWE. Let me explain: Even though Wrestlers are 0 for 2 (Thanks, Goldberg; Sorry, Maria!) at winning the reality competition, its host – Donald Trump – is able to do favorite thing: talk about himself, which includes his WWE Hall of Fame Induction. This season’s Apprentice overlaps with Wrestlemania Season so both are brought up on the talk show circuit. This inspired the wrestling loving Live with Kelly and Michael to do some research on Donald Trump: the wrestler:
Before anyone goes all “Birth Certificate” over this, Relax: it’s a doctored photo of Trump’s head on fellow Hall of Fame Inductee Bruno Sammartino’s body. You’ve been warned, Trump: We just got Bruno and if we need to choose hiring you or him for the Hall of Fame, well … “You’re Fired!”
