Cheap Pop: Terminology Chamber

Now finding himself in his second Elimination Chamber match in the same night, this time against Mike Knox, Kane, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston, John Cena, he had to do something, right? Well he wasn’t alone. Again, either intentionally or inadvertently coined the term “getting Cena’d,” which is the act of each opponent rallying together to hitting their signature maneuver and eliminate one opponent successfully.

It took a Jericho Codebreaker, a Rey Mysterio 619 and an Edge Spear – in succession! – to eliminate the John Cena, the World Heavyweight Champion. This ultimately worked out in Edge’s favor: he went on to win the match and the title.

3MB_WWE_NoWayOut2009_EdgeWinsWe’re pretty sure Edge didn’t invent this. This type of “teamwork” is usually reserved for the “Big Man” in the match, like the Big Show. He’s taken a fair share of combination signature / finishers during the years. But, it’s the Big Show. You know how we feel about the Big Show. Plus, defeating Cena stunned the crowd, the other Superstars and everyone watching. Victory is yours, Edge! Will the Rated R Superstar’s legacy live on at Elimination Chamber?
