After a USA Chant, John Cena talks about how proud he is to be United States Champion, despite having a difference of opinion with the WWE Universe. Kevin Owens tells John Cena “Hello” then congratulates him on beating Rusev at WWE Payback. Owens said he would introduce himself but he says Cena knows exactly who he is. Owens says if anyone doesn’t know who he is, those people are simply not worth his time in the first place.
John Cena introduces the WWE Universe to Kevin Owens. Owens thanks Cena, then says he knows Cena feels guilty about Sami Zayn’s injury. Owens tells Cena that he’s here to ease his mind because Zayn was injured before he accepted the challenge. Owens says he’s the one that injured him and this Wednesday night, when it comes to Sami Zayn, Owens will finish what he started.
John Cena tells Kevin Owens that he has a lot to learn. Cena says some may not know Owens, but regardless, no one in the WWE Universe is to be called a waste of time. Cena tells Owens that without the WWE Universe, there is no Kevin Owens, no RAW or WWE. Cena screams that the WWE Universe is why they’re here.

John Cena gives Kevin Owens a warning instead. Cena brings up Sami Zayn’s injury, then says instead of giving up, Zayn looked Cena in the eye and said give it your best shot. Cena says he’s looking Kevin Owens in the eye and doesn’t see fire. Cena tells Owens that he sees a scared kid who tried to rattle Cena’s cage, but instead is crapping his pants because he bit off more than he can chew. Cena tells Owens to watch himself because Sami Zayn could embarrass him at NXT Takeover and win the NXT Championship.

Kevin Owens says he’s a prize fighter, but he already has a prize: The NXT Championship. Kevin Owens declines challenge. Owens tells Cena that they will fight someday but on Owens’ terms, not Cena’s.

Dolph Ziggler quickly defeats Stardust with the Zig Zag.

Michael Cole brings up the Intercontinental Title Elimination Chamber Match. Cole lets Dolph Ziggler know that he just got the last spot in the Elimination Chamber. Ziggler says if he’ll hurt himself to get his hands on #ScumbagSheamus, he will do 20 times worse to get to the Intercontinental Title.

Kevin Owens says he told John Cena that he’d fight him on his own terms and in two weeks, he will be fighting Cena at Elimination Chamber. Owens tells Cena to pay close attention to NXT Takeover, because what he does to Sami Zayn is only a fraction of what he will do to John Cena.
