Sometimes you’re just on Twitter, following @3ManBooth or the 3ManBooth Twitter list, when you see something that catches your eye. That was the case when Comedian Jonah Ray reached out to the Twitter-verse for an odd request:
Can somebody send me mp3s of these three hulk hogan songs: I wanna be a hulkamaniac, hulkster in heaven, beach patrol. Need Downloadable.
— Jonah Ray Donovan (@jonahray) October 3, 2013
What does Jonah Ray need songs from Hulk Rules for? Was he planning on psyching himself up using the stylings of Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band? He is a music aficionado afterall, as the host of his own podcast, Jonah Raydio, devoted to spotlighting new artists. Or does he plan of comedically dissecting Hogan’s attempt a ballad through “Hulkster in Heaven” or attempts at rapping in “I Wanna Be a Hulkamaniac” (which, incidentally, samples Owen Hart’s theme music) and “Beach Patrol.”
Either way, ask Twitter about wrestling and Twitter will answer.
thanks for the hulk hook up guys. Bunchie is gonna love what i got cookin’ #DONOFANSUNITE @SHO_RayDonovan

We want to extend our thanks as well; we have no idea what Jonah’s intended purpose was but hope to find out. If you were in attendance that night please let us know. Otherwise, we’ll have to follow Jonah’s Twitter to see if more is revealed. Or, he might mention it on Jonah Raydio or the Nerdist podcast with Chris Hardwick and Matt Mira (Matt, please bring this up on the next Hostful). While waiting, we can all listen to Jonah’s latest comedy album – Hello, Mr. Magic Plane Person, Hello – available on iTunes and Amazon. Trust us: it’s TJ Maxx, aka MY BEST FRIEND, approved.
Before becoming professional wrestlers, a lot them are athletes from another sport. ‘Big Cat’ Ernie Ladd, Alex Riley and Jack Swagger made names (or reasonable likenesses) for themselves in football. The Big Show and Kevin Nash utilized their height in basketball before competing as big men “where the big boys play.” Shelton Benjamin, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle and Dolph Ziggler were wrestlers before becoming… wrestlers. The Bella Twins tested out Twin Magic on the soccer fields before perfecting it in the wrestling ring.
Speaking of perfection, there was one wrestler who seemed to be an impeccable athlete across every sport tried: Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig displayed his in-ring prowess throughout the AWA, the WWF, the WCW and the WWE, earning many championships and being a standout wrestler in all promotions. In the WWF WWE, he showed his knack for other sports through a series of vignettes. He showed off a perfect pass rating with Minnesota Viking Steve Jordan.
As if there were any way to top a perfect pass rating, Mr. Perfect then threw the ball to himself … and caught it! Who can do that?!?
Few have tried to pay tribute to Curt Hennig’s wrestling ability, usually by doing a variation on the Perfect Plex, a bridging fisherman’s suplex pinning combination. Even Curtis Axel, son of Mr. Perfect, dedicated his first Intercontinental Title match and win to his dad. But only one person has tried to pay tribute to Mr. Perfect’s non-wrestling athletic prowess: Charlie Haas, during his impersonation phase in the WWE, threw on a blonde wig and commandeered a Dave and Busters to recreate some of these moments.
It wasn’t perfect but it was still a fitting tribute. Who among us haven’t done the gum spit / slap thing and missed?
RAW begins with CM Punk!
Does Punk get a new shirt every week now? #RAW

The middle rope is pink again in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
Either it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month or the ring crew got high on Good ‘n’ Plenties. #RAW

After a loud CM Punk chant, CM Punk says a lot of people think that RAW thrives on unpredictability and he’s as predictable as it comes. Punk says sometimes predictability is okay and uses the examples of Paul Heyman bragging, him attacking Paul Heyman and him getting beaten down by Curtis Axel and Ryback.
CM Punk is basically narrating his own role in a horror movie. “You know it’s predictable that I’m going to get stabbed by Jason…”
