Sometimes you’re just on Twitter, following @3ManBooth or the 3ManBooth Twitter list, when you see something that catches your eye. That was the case when Comedian Jonah Ray reached out to the Twitter-verse for an odd request:
Can somebody send me mp3s of these three hulk hogan songs: I wanna be a hulkamaniac, hulkster in heaven, beach patrol. Need Downloadable.
— Jonah Ray Donovan (@jonahray) October 3, 2013
What does Jonah Ray need songs from Hulk Rules for? Was he planning on psyching himself up using the stylings of Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band? He is a music aficionado afterall, as the host of his own podcast, Jonah Raydio, devoted to spotlighting new artists. Or does he plan of comedically dissecting Hogan’s attempt a ballad through “Hulkster in Heaven” or attempts at rapping in “I Wanna Be a Hulkamaniac” (which, incidentally, samples Owen Hart’s theme music) and “Beach Patrol.”
Either way, ask Twitter about wrestling and Twitter will answer.
thanks for the hulk hook up guys. Bunchie is gonna love what i got cookin’ #DONOFANSUNITE @SHO_RayDonovan

We want to extend our thanks as well; we have no idea what Jonah’s intended purpose was but hope to find out. If you were in attendance that night please let us know. Otherwise, we’ll have to follow Jonah’s Twitter to see if more is revealed. Or, he might mention it on Jonah Raydio or the Nerdist podcast with Chris Hardwick and Matt Mira (Matt, please bring this up on the next Hostful). While waiting, we can all listen to Jonah’s latest comedy album – Hello, Mr. Magic Plane Person, Hello – available on iTunes and Amazon. Trust us: it’s TJ Maxx, aka MY BEST FRIEND, approved.
