In looking for inspiration, players are reaching to one of the most successful champions of all time, the 16 time World Champion, the “Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Back in 2013, the St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks had a Flair-off in one game, and it wasn’t even a playoff game!
The Rams’ Chris Long started to style and profile after sacking the Seahawks’ Russell Wilson. Not to be outdone, Walter Thurmond broke out his best “Naitch” after taking down Kellen Clemens.
And last year, the San Francisco 49ers asked Ric to give them a pep talk during their playoff run. But this year, the Flair moment to beat belongs to the Indianapolis Colts’ Sergio Brown.

John Cena says The Authority is back in power and their first order of business was to bring everyone down to the ring to address them face to face. Cena takes a moment to apologize to the WWE Universe and the Superstars because he had to go back on his word and bring back The Authority. Cena thought he could be Superman and save Edge, but realized he couldn’t and Edge’s health was more important than The Authority.

Even before their official debut, The New Day – Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston – have been doing what they can to be noticed. They were all in the #1 Contender Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship … #1 Contender. They’ve been bonding outside of the ring to make their in-ring chemistry even better. They’re not doing it for the Vine; they’re doing it for the Day (Ain’t gonna do it!).

Global Force Wrestling, Jeff Jarrett’s new wrestling promotion made it possible for fans outside of Japan to watch New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 9. Jim Ross and Matt Striker called the action for us gaijin as we watched on PPV, either live on Sunday morning at 2am or via replay at 7pm later that day. We had a 3ManBooth slumber party, watching Japan’s finest do battle. If you haven’t seen it, you should; it’s some of the best wrestling we’ve seen, a great mixture of styles as well. There were high flyers, brawlers, MMA fighters and traditional style matches. One style and fighter that stood out is the King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura.
