After a weird RAW, SmackDown Live continued it’s mission statement to be to “The Land of Opportunity.” But what was the moment of the week?
No, it wasn’t the formation of Lega-she.
It wasn’t the awkward promo between Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler.
And it wasn’t the match of the night between Charlotte and Naomi.
It was….
The NEW Number One Contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship!
Wow. First, Jinder Mahal gets to face Randy Orton at Backlash for the WWE World Championship. Now Breezango is facing The Usos for the Tag Team Championship?
Don’t get us wrong. Naomi and Charlotte put on a great match. AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens continued their rivalries. And Jinder Mahal got the best of Randy Orton. If you’ve been watching SmackDown Live, all of this was expected. What wasn’t expected was a Breezango win!
This proves that once again, SmackDown Live is the Land of Opportunity. Congratulations, Breezango!
Come back next week for your SmackDown Live Moment of the Week!
