Highlight Reel: #RoyalRumble Reaction

The Royal Rumble has come and gone. Randy Orton won the 30-Man Royal Rumble match, and the opportunity to face the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena at WrestleMania 33.*

While that is great for Cena and Orton, there was a brief few minutes in the Royal Rumble match where fans thought the end result would be different. Fans and card carrying members of the WWE Universe waited with bated breath to see who would be number 30. Would it be a surprise return like Finn Balor? A surprise call up from Samoa Joe? Kane for another Brothers of Destruction reunion?

Nope. Instead, we got Roman Reigns.

Reigns, who lost to the WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, earlier in the night, came out to a reaction so negative, it made Rey Mysterio as number 30 in 2014 seem like a hero’s welcome.

Unfortunately, for the Big Dog, he came up short and did not win the Royal Rumble. But he did put fear in the eyes and hearts of many fans. And because it’s the internet, someone put all of those fearful and angry reactions into one video.

In this video, Reigns’ music and entrance captures surprise and disappointment so well, that he is already a contender for us for Wrestling Meme Of The Year (Not an actual thing). Reigns may have lost twice at the Rumble, but at least he gave us several entertaining moments and heart palpitations.

Believe that!

*Card subject to change. Please change. Cena/Orton had their chance to Main Event a one-on-one WrestleMania match in 2008. It’s not our fault Cena decided to have the match in February instead. Who does that?
