So That Happened: #RAW Recap (12/07/15)

It’s time for the TLC Go-Home edition of the RAW Recap! Grab your unicorn horns and let’s get started!


RAW kicks off with The League Of Nations.

The League Of Nations brags about their newly formed faction, hyping up Alberto Del Rio, King Barrett, Rusev and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, #ScumbagSheamus.

As The League Of Nations continues to boast about defeating Roman Reigns and friends, and their dominance, they are interrupted by The Wyatt Family.

Bray Wyatt tells #ScumbagSheamus and The League Of Nations that he doesn’t care about the Nations and that this is his world. Wyatt tells The LON that he’s allowing him to breathe in it. Wyatt tells The League Of Nations that they didn’t come out here to talk. They came out here for the chaos.

Before the chaos ensures, The Dudley Boyz come out with Tommy Dreamer.

The Dudleyz and Bray Wyatt go back and forth until D-Von Dudley quotes his favorite movie, Bebe’s Kid, then introduces the Fourth Member of Team ECW, the young NXT rookie, Rhyno!

All 3 teams are interrupted by Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Usos.

A 16-Man Fatal 4-Way Team-Elimination Match begins

Tommy Dreamer almost dies.

But recovers by eliminating Eric Rowan.

Later, #ScumbagSheamus eliminated Bubba Ray Dudley with a Brogue Kick.

Lilian Garcia calls Team ECW “Team Extreme:

It’s down to The League Of Nations vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Usos.

Roman Reigns pretty much takes out The League Of Nations by himself.

Shortly after the match, #ScumbagSheamus vows to teach Roman Reigns a lesson before TLC.

Later, Roman Reigns makes jokes about #ScumbagSheamus and offers a lesson of his own: How it feels to be former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Reigns wants to hear #ScumbagSheamus’ “lesson” tonight.

Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens face each other in a hard fought match, which was watched by Tyler Breeze and Dean Ambrose.

Dolph Ziggler takes a beating, but tries his hardest.

Kevin Owens ends up defeating Dolph Ziggler with a Pop-Up Powerbomb. Immediately after the win, Dean Ambrose’s music plays.

After the match, Dean Ambrose comes down to the ring and decides to share his food with Kevin Owens.

The Miz tries to get Neville to be his protégé again and introduces poor Neville to Donny Deutche. Donny and The Miz argue about what’s the best show on USA while Neville looks bored. Donny wants Neville on the show immediately, and Miz somewhere down the line.

Sasha Banks and Team B.A.D. are facing The Bella Twins next, but before that, they plan to teach Team Bella a lesson in UNITY.

After Team B.A.D make quick work of The Bella Twin and Alicia Fox, they are interrupted by The New Day!

The New Day and Team B.AD. admire each other. The New Day gives Team B.A.D. Unicorn horns. Team B.A.D. does their pose with The New Day.

After Team B.A.D. leaves and The Usos join the commentary table, The New Day brag about their good deeds like donating to The League Of Nations, and giving Kanye West and Kim Kardashian a list of baby names. Big E hopes they go with “Booty West.”

Kofi Kingston switches to WWE Title Opportunities and believes despite their generosity, they shouldn’t have to give out title shots so easily. Big E thinks the Triple Threat Ladder Match against the Lucha Dragons and The Usos is outrageous while Kofi Kingston thinks The New Day has no use for ladders.

After talking about how they don’t need a ladder to save a cat from a tree, Xavier Woods introduces New Day Theatre, Big E. plays the role of a tree. Kofi Kingston plays a tree and Xavier Woods plays The New Day.

The New Day talks about the disadvantages of the ladder match, but Kofi Kingston promises that they will keep the WWE World Tag Team Titles around their waistsss (Plural for the 3 of them.) The New Day ends the promo with the New Day Rocks chant.

During the match, Xavier Woods taunts The Usos with his trombone and gets beaten down for it.

The Lucha Dragons end up getting the win, while The Usos steal the trombone.

The Miz welcomes Charlotte and Ric Flair to MizTV. Charlotte scolds The Miz for not introducing Ric Flair properly, then lets The Miz know that he has 10 minutes of “Rolex Time” with The Flair’s.

After Ric Flair speaks glowingly about his daughter, Flair reveals he’ll be in Charlotte’s corner this Sunday for her match against Paige. The Miz questions Charlotte’s new attitude, saying people are calling her self-serving, ruthless and egotistical. Charlotte stands up for herself saying she’ll do whatever it takes to be the best just like her Father. Charlotte calls The Miz out on not praising her because she’s not a man, then says she feels sorry for his wife.

The Miz keeps badgering Charlotte, saying she’s changed ever since Paige questioned her win at Survivor Series. Miz asks Charlotte what she has to say to Paige. After consulting with Ric Flair, Charlotte says she’ll say what she needs to say on Sunday. Miz continues to try and get answers, but Ric Flair gets involved, telling him he’s not going to use Charlotte to bump ratings.

The Miz continues to quote Paige’s comments on Charlotte and Ric Flair until Charlotte snaps and lets Miz know the only thing lower on the totem pole than Miz is the gothic piece of trash, Paige. Charlotte says she wishes Paige was here so she could tell her this Sunday, that Paige doesn’t have to worry about being Divas Champion ever again, because she will destroy her for everything she said about her and her family.

The Miz reveals Paige is actually here. Paige confronts Charlotte, but Ric Flair lets Charlotte know this is a ploy to upset her. Flair says he and his family are Flair’s and Champions. They get ready to leave the ring, but Paige slaps Ric Flair.

Ric Flair tells Charlotte to get Paige and the two brawl until Paige leaves the ring.

Before Ryback vs. Rusev, Lana lets Ryback know that she forgives him for last week and believes the stairs incident was an accident.

During the match, Ryback takes flight again.

Towards the end of the match, Ryback chases Rusev but Lana jumps in front of Ryback, claiming that she got hurt. It ends up being a trick and Ryback gets attacked by Rusev.

Jack Swagger quickly beats Stardust via Patriot Lock, while Titus O’Neil speaks on commentary about wanting him to be Cody Rhodes again.

After the match, Alberto Del Rio attacks Jack Swagger with a chair. Titus O’Neil tells Del Rio to watch out for Stardust, who also gets hit with a chair. Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio use dueling chairs, and Del Rio ends up tripping over Zeb Colter’s scooter.

Alberto Del Rio runs away as Jack Swagger tries to get Zeb Colter to come back to America. Zeb Colter just leaves.

Backstage, Alberto Del Rio is pissed at Zeb Colter because the fans laughed at him because he tripped over Colter’s scooter. Del Rio tells Colter he’s going to stay away because he doesn’t need him. Colter calls Del Rio out on being a hot head and reminds him that he was the one who helped him because WWE United States Champion.

Alberto Del Rio tells Zeb Colter to shut up and threatens to beat Colter with a chair, just like he will to Jack Swagger this Sunday. Colter scooters away as Del Rio throws the chair at Colter (Thankfully he misses)

Adam Rose continues to throw shade at Neville, The Miz and Rhyno, Tommy Dreamer and Becky Lynch.

Also, Braun Strowman makes quick work of Tommy Dreamer.

Roman Reigns accepts #ScumbagSheamus’ challenge and rather than bore you with the back and forth, here’s what happened.

– Roman Reigns and #ScumbagSheamus threatened each other
– Roman Reigns told #ScumbagSheamus to come down to the ring. #ScumbagSheamus refused.
– Roman Reigns said he thought #ScumbagSheamus had potatoes (2015’s Grapefruits), Reigns says #ScumbagSheamus has tater-tots.

Roman Reigns continues to insult #ScumbagSheamus’ “tater-tots.” until #ScumbagSheamus comes down to the ring and the two brawl. Roman Reigns ends up winning the brawl with his Superman Punch and Spear.


Also, a ladder was thrown.
