RAW begins with the return of Sting!
Sting states his intentions for getting involved with Seth Rollins. Sting is mad at the injustices of Seth Rollins as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and doesn’t think Rollins is half the man Triple H is (A man who Sting really respects despite not really having a reason to.)
Sting also wants to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the only title that has alluded him his entire career.
Backstage, Seth Rollins is furious. Rollins thinks he’s a better man than Triple H, which angers Stephanie McMahon. Rollins asks about the whereabouts of his statue, but Stephanie McMahon tells Rollins to go ask Sting where it is.
The first match on RAW is Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev in a Summerslam Rematch
During the hard fought match, Dolph Ziggler catches Rusev with a Superkick.
And also the Zig Zag.
Dolph Ziggler almost wins, but Summer Rae attacks him, causing a disqualification.
Lana gets involved and has yet another catfight with Summer Rae.
Dolph Ziggler and Lana celebrate their victory with a kiss, which angers Rusev.
After Dolph Ziggler is victorious, Ziggler has a post-match interview with Renee Young.
Unknown to Ziggler and Renee, Summer Rae sneaks backstage into Dolph’s dressing room.
The Beat The Clock Challenge is next, but before it starts, Nikki Bella and Team Bella introduce The Bellatron.
Becky Lynch vs. Alicia Fox is up first.
Which Becky Lynch quickly wins.
Backstage, Ryback talks to Rich Brennan about his Intercontinental Championship Defense against Big Show. Ryback vows to defeat Big Show because the championship means he world to him. Ryback mocks Big Show and Miz and talks about how nothing can keep him down. Ryback is interrupted by a screaming Summer Rae, who runs out of the dressing room.
Followed by Dolph Ziggler.
Ryback faces Big Show for the Intercontinental Championship while The Miz is on commentary.
A “Please Retire” Chant offends Big Show, who takes the mic and tells the WWE Universe to find someone who can retire him.
Big Show almost wins, but gets distracted by The Miz.
Ryback takes advantage and hits Big Show with the Shell Shock to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
Lilian Garcia accidentally calls Ryback, “The Ryback.”
Charlotte vs. Brie Bella is up next in a Beat The Clock challenge.
Charlotte makes quick work of Brie Bella.
And we followed that up with The Dudley Boyz and Renee Young. The Dudleyz say are here for two reasons: To put people through tables and become 10 Time WWE Tag Team Champions.
Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens is up next.
Cesaro catches Kevin Owens with an incredible Gutwrench Suplex.
Cesaro continues to display amazing strength.
Cesaro’s momentum gets derailed after Kevin Owens sends him crashing into the Announce Table.
Kevin Owens manages to get the win with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.
After Cesaro vs. Owens, Dolph Ziggler tries to explain himself to Lana, but Lana doesn’t want to listen.
