After a loud “Daniel Bryan” chant, Daniel Bryan says the last couple of weeks he’s been in and out of doctor’s appointments and he’s had a lot of downtime. And he doesn’t do well with downtown. Bryan says he needs action, excitement and energy. Daniel Bryan says he needed to behind the curtain, waiting for his music to hit so he can come out and hear the love of the WWE Universe.

Daniel Bryan asks the WWE Universe how long they have been treating him like he has been someone special. Bryan says the fans treat him better than people in the back treat him. Bryan reminds the WWE Universe of what happened when he was stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship last year. Bryan says he felt horrible when he had to be stripped of the title because he feels he let the fans down and the fans got him the opportunity. The WWE Universe responds with “YES” Chants.
Daniel Bryan says the hard thing for him to admit was Stephanie McMahon was right to do it. Bryan says no one knew how long he was out and that the WWE Universe deserves a fighting champion. Which is why he came out tonight. The WWE Universe responds with “NO” chants.
Daniel Bryan says he had an MRI last week and they don’t know how long Bryan will be out. Bryan can be out weeks or months or that he might never be able to wrestle again. Bryan says because of this, it makes him know what needs to be done with the Intercontinental Championship.

The New Day Speaks:
Xavier Woods comes out and says Daniel Bryan may be gone, but it’s not about negativity. Woods says it’s a New Day and encourages the WWE Universe to clap and chant “New Day Rocks.”
After the WWE Universe chants “New Day Sucks”, Kofi Kingston says they will get it right some day. Kofi starts talking about second chances, saying that people deserve second chances. Big E says except for Pete Rose, then The New Day make fun of gambling.
The New Day goes back to talking about second chances. Kofi Kingston says The New Day will give Cesaro and Tyson Kidd a second chance, even though they lost, in a 2 out of 3 falls match at Payback for the Tag Team Titles.
The New Day decides to give the WWE Universe a second chance too and starts up a “New Day Rocks” chant, but the WWE Universe chants “New Day Sucks.”
Cesaro and Tyson Kidd come out.

Bray Wyatt says he feels sorry for everyone and that he wishes he could reach out and fix everything, wake them up from this nightmare, but he can’t. Bray says fear is all around and fear has engulfed this world like a wildfire. Wyatt says if you need proof, it’s not too hard to find. Wyatt says the proof is in the newspaper and on TV being sold to them left tor right: Fear of crumbling economies that will never stop, fear of a global conflict and fear of a dying Earth.
Bray Wyatt says there are a few that can’t accept fear. Wyatt says these people think they can overcome all of the odds because they work hard. Wyatt says Ryback must be an inspiration to the WWE Universe. Bray Wyatt talks about Ryback’s life story of the ankle injury, how he overcame the odds and is wrestling again. Wyatt mockingly calls Ryback a hero. Wyatt says Ryback may have overcome all the odds, but he has never seen something like Bray Wyatt: The New Face Of Fear.
