Not everyone was there to wish The IZOD Center well in its future endeavors. Cesaro interrupted Chris Jericho (Surprise!) mid-speech to talk about how he’s happy to see the building be torn down. You see, while we were watching Ziggler cash in the money in the bank or Ryback shellshock Cena or Jericho fight with Fandango, Cesaro was in the back, cut from the show and not able to perform in front of that international card. And he’s going to take those frustrations out on Jericho.
So Cesaro said, “Do you wanna start a war?” and FOZZY frontman Chris Jericho morphed into Y2J again. The two competed in a back and forth battle. Cesaro hit the Cesaro Swing!
Then Cesaro went for the Neutralizer, which Jericho reversed a backbody drop, which Cesaro reversed by landing on his feet!
which Jericho countered into a running codebreaker!
earning the win. But Cesaro wasn’t the only European who was unhappy with being at the IZOD Center. Rusev voiced his displeasure for being in New Jersey. Well, Rusev through Lana voiced their displeasure.
But not all the dislike for the IZOD Center was international. Seth Rollins also expressed his disgust for the center, his opponent that night – John Cena, and the type of match they were in: a steel cage.
Both men used the cage to their advantage, throwing each other into the steel. Both men tried to escape the ring, either through the door or the top of the cage. Cena gained the advantage and made his way to the cage door when… WELL –
The Big Show appeared to #BigShowRuinsThings this match! He not only slammed the cage door on Cena’s face, but he also entered the ring. Now that the odds were against Cena, he naturally – prevailed: Cena gave Big Show an Attitude Adjustment and then gave one to Seth Rollins to pick up the win.
