RAW begins with The Authority
Stephanie McMahon says she expected this reaction because the WWE Universe doesn’t understand the word respect, and doesn’t understand how to be a leader. Stephanie McMahon they’re out here to admit defeat because they know how to be responsible for their actions.
Stephanie McMahon says The Authority would have been victorious at Survivor Series if it wasn’t for one man…Sting.
Stephanie McMahon blames Sting for their loss and reminds the WWE Universe that the only person who can reinstate The Authority is John Cena. Stephanie says The Authority stands before them as winners and leaders because at the end of the day, they still have each other and their corporate responsibilities. Triple H whispers something to Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie starts to tear up as she talks about Thanksgiving, but Triple H gives her a hug.
Triple H mocks the WWE Universe for enjoying the fact that Stephanie McMahon is crying and that The Authority is humbled and humiliated. Stephanie McMahon asks what kind of people they are, and Triple H calls the WWE Universe bullies.
Triple H says to be careful what you wish for, because he knows there’s no one who can carry that responsibility of The Authority. Triple H says no one is going to make decisions that are based on things being Best For Business. Triple H mocks John Cena, Dolph Ziggler and Sting as potential Authority figures.
Triple H says he doesn’t know why Sting decided to interfere or try to make himself relevant again, because he says it doesn’t matter because Sting’s first night in a WWE Ring, will be his last night in a WWE Ring. Triple H said Sting just ensured the demise of the WWE and that the WWE won’t last 2 to 3 weeks without The Authority.
Triple H says The Authority has more responsibility than people can imagine. Triple H claims the things they did for the WWE Universe, while seemingly cruel and sadistic, are what it takes to make the WWE thrive. Triple H says without The Authority there is no John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback or WWE Universe.
Triple H asks what the WWE Universe is going to do when RAW no longer exists. Triple H says they’re going to sit on their couch and wallow over their own personal failures. Triple H encourages the WWE Universe to cheer, then says The Authority is going to leave now. Triple H tells the WWE Universe that they will beg for them to come back.
Suddenly…
Daniel Bryan chants YES in The Authority’s faces.
The Authority leaves the ring and Daniel Bryan follows them with more “YES” Chants.
Daniel Bryan says it feels good to be in the ring tonight. Bryan says having the ability to kick The Authority out of the ring too.
Daniel Bryan announces he’s been put in charge of RAW tonight.
Daniel Bryan says with the small amount of power he has given tonight, he’s going to make he uses it well. Bryan mentions Team Authority and says just because they lost at Survivor Series, it doesn’t make them bad people. Bryan brings out Team Authority.
Daniel Bryan says he’s a fair man and he won’t put them in unfair matches like The Authority did. Bryan starts with Seth Rollins, and puts him in a handicap with 2 Superstars against John Cena and the man who single handedly changed the course of WWE history, Dolph Ziggler.
Seth Rollins tries to speak, but his mic is cut out. Daniel Bryan makes fun of him for it, and Seth Rollins asks if he’s controlling the microphone. Daniel Bryan responds with “YES.” Seth Rollins tells Daniel Bryan that whether he likes it or not, he is still the future of this company and there’s nothing Bryan can do about that.
Seth Rollins asks Daniel Bryan who his partners are going to be, then teases names like Hornswoggle and El Torito. Bryan tells Rollins that he’s not teaming him up with anybody, but the WWE Universe will via the WWE App. Bryan gives the options of Mark Henry and Luke Harper or Mark Henry and Kane. Before Bryan mentions the 3rd team, Bryan tells Rollins to step to his left. Bryan reveals Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury as option 03.
Seth Rollins complains about Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury, claiming they’re not even real security. Bryan tells Rollins that sometimes life is not fair, and makes him step aside. Seth Rollins storms off in a huff.
Daniel Bryan addresses Kane next. Bryan brings up his history with Kane, saying Dr. Shelby would approve of Kane’s current path as Director Of Operations.
After asking the WWE Unvierse if Kane should be Director Of Operations, Bryan changes Corporate Kane to Concessions Kane, Director Of Food and Beverage.
Daniel Bryan asks someone to come out with a tray of popcorn and a hairnet. Kane reluctantly takes the popcorn, as Bryan tells him to sell hotdogs.
Daniel Bryan addresses Rusev and Lana next.
Daniel Bryan thinks Rusev should be more patriotic and gives him two options: Option 1 is to defend his WWE United States Championship in a company-wide battle royal. After Rusev disagrees, Bryan names Option 2: Rusev comes down to the ring, with a giant American Flag behind him, and he recites the pledge of allegiance to the United States Of America. Rusev and Lana storm off in a huff.
Daniel Bryan addresses his bearded brethren, Luke Harper, next.
Daniel Bryan reminds Harper that he had assistance from Seth Rollins to win the Intercontinental Title last week, then puts Harper in a title match against Dean Ambrose tonight.
Daniel Bryan addresses Mark Henry next, saying that a Superstar backstage requested this match to avenge an embarrassing loss from 2 years ago at Wrestlemania. Bryan said “YES” because that’s his thing, so Mark Henry will be in a match against The Ryback.
Daniel Bryan tells Mark Henry that he can make this match because he’s running RAW tonight, and “That’s What He Do.”
Daniel Bryan makes the match next. Mark Henry starts to walk down the ring, but get attacked by Ryback.
Ryback proceeds to destroy Mark Henry
Match 01: Ryback vs. Mark Henry
Winner: Ryback
Backstage: The Authority sees Mr. McMahon and apologizes for letting them down. Vince McMahon says he’s not angry, just disappointed. Vince reminds The Authority that they will have to overcome insurmountable odds in the corporate world. Vince asks how the WWE Universe made them feel and tells them to never forget that feeling. Vince says somehow they’re going to fix this.
Vince McMahon mocks Stephanie McMahon for saying Sorry, saying he never said Sorry in his life. Vince tell Stephanie that the only thing he’s sorry for is having to spend Thanksgiving with the two of them. Vince McMahon leaves in the limo with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Match 02: Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper
Luke Harper tosses Dean Ambrose into the ring, but Dean Ambrose rolls out.
Dean Ambrose hits a Guillotine Legdrop on Luke Harper
Dean Ambrose hits a flying elbowdrop on Luke Harper
Luke Harper hits a superkick on Dean Ambrose
Dean Ambrose hits Luke Harper with the Rebound Clothesline.
Luke Harper pushes Dean Ambrose into the referee.
The referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Luke Harper (via DQ)
Post-Match, Dean Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds on Luke Harper onto the chair.
Dean Ambrose starts looking for a table.
