Memorabilia Lane: Hogan Knows Threads

In Memorabilia Lane, We’ll Discuss the Significance Some Kind of Collectible
(T-Shirt, Poster, Action Figure) has on us and how much we want it.

Hulk Hogan is, arguably, the most recognizable wrestler in the history of professional wrestling. Even people who don’t know what pro wrestling is somehow know of the Hulkster, his 24 inch pythons and his blond handlebar mustache. You can often find his likeness emblazoned on a t-shirt, which is funny considering that spent a good part of his career ripping t-shirts in two on a nightly basis.

There is a t-shirt designed by Pop Nerd currently available at Pop Nerd lives up to the reputation by combining The Real American Hulk Hogan with An American Werewolf in London: A Real American Werewolf!

Instead of taking Hulkamania overseas, Glennz went south of the border. He took the iconic colors of Hulk Hogan – the red and the yellow – and turned them into a luchador’s mask: El Hulko!

3MB_Glennz_ElHulkoGlennz included all the essentials: The mustache is stitched on the make, the head contains both a Hogan red bandana and the blond streaks to represent his hair. Plus, Glennz included an ear hole so that El Hulko can do the signature “ear to the hand” gesture and hear the crowd’s response.

If you want some more Hulk Hogan, there is a plainer options. Jack Threads is currently offering a Hulkamania t-shirt that shows Hogan at the height of his popularity doing what he does best: ripping off his shirt to the adulation of fans.

You can take your pick at your favorite Hulk Hogan style t-shirt. You can go for parody with TeeVillain, homage with Glennz or a straight forward print go Hulking out with Jack Threads. Just don’t go full Hogan and rip your shirt. Clothes are expensive.
