Backstage: Stephanie McMahon is talking with Kane and The Shield. Stephanie tells Kane that she doesn’t care what happened between him and The Shield at Wrestlemania, and she doesn’t care what happened to his brother at Wrestlemania. The only thing that’s important is that Triple H becomes the 14 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion tonight and Kane and The Shield are going to make sure that happens.

Seth Rollins says that sounds great, but it seems like Kane is missing some buddies. The Shield makes fun of the lack of New Age Outlaws in Kane’s corner. Kane snaps and tells The Shield that Triple H sees them for what they are: Nameless faces and expendable pawns. Kane continues to rant on The Shield until Stephanie McMahon screams at Kane.

Stephanie tells everyone that what Triple H wants, Triple H gets. Stephanie asks if she made herself clear, which Kane and The Shield agree to.

Before Triple H can attack, The Shield’s theme plays as The Shield come down to the ring.

A “Hounds Of Justice” chant breaks out as Randy Orton, Batista and Kane get on the apron. The Shield gets on the other side of the apron as both teams stare each other down.

Triple H tries to calm everybody down as a “This Is Awesome” chant breaks out. The Shield gets in the ring anyway.

Triple H tells The Shield to stand down as Randy Orton, Batista and Kane get in the ring. Triple H tells both teams this isn’t going to happen. Kane tries to attack, but Triple H pushes him back. Triple H says they’re not breaking this down into a war.

Triple H turns around right into a spear.
