Backstage: Randy Orton barges in on The Authority and asks them if this match with Daniel Bryan is a joke. Orton reminds The Authority that he won the WWE World Heavyweight Title last night in a brutal TLC match, then asks if this is he reward for winning the biggest match of his life last night. Stephanie calms Orton down and reminds him that Daniel Bryan was nearly decimated by the Wyatt Family. Stephanie tells Orton that The Authority values him as the Face Of The Company, their Company and their friend. Stephanie reminds Orton that since he is WWE World Heavyweight Champion, it is double the work and double the competition.
Triple H tells Randy Orton that now that he’s WWE World Heavyweight Champion, everyone is gunning for him. Triple H says Orton can’t just look like a champion; he has to show everyone why he is champion. Triple H tells Orton not to worry and that The Authority has his back. Orton storms off and slams the door.
