Are You Serious, a show on the WWE’s YouTube Channel, is on the same wavelength as ThreeManBooth. In addition to pulling Max Moon out of the WWE Archives, they also explored the WCW Archives and found 3 Count. You Guys remember 3 Count, right? The inspiration for this topic? No? Well, in 1999, the Trio of Evan Karagis, Shane Helms and Shannon Moore, formed WCW’s first Boy Band 3 Count (If you thought the 4 Horsemen were the first Boy Band in WCW, remember: they were called HorseMEN for a reason). 3 Count would perform their one of their signature songs, “3 Count” and “Can’t Get You Out of My Heart” before their matches, on custom green circles.
3 Count, like all boy bands, had two sides to them. Through their music, they were the nice boys who wanted to have fun. Their lyrics, “We like Backstreet Boys / ‘NSync Too / Britney Spears is Kinda Cute / We Watch T-R-L on M-T-V,” were all about making friends. In the ring, however, they made no friends. They feuded with the Jung Dragons, a trio of ninjas (Yep, Ninjas) over the their green dance circles. Norman Smiley didn’t like 3 Count because he couldn’t perform the Big Wiggle to “Can’t Get You Out of My Heart.” 3 Count fought and defeated Brian Knobbs for the Hardcore Championship, which is the equivalent of knocking 98 Degress off the TRL Countdown. And even when they thought they had made an ally/fan in Tank Abbot (Yep, UFC Fighter Tank Abbot), even that friendship turned into a feud. All of this fighting eventually turned inward and the team broke up in 2001.

There should be a 3 Count reunion for 2 reasons.
- Josh Matthews want to know who the ‘Bad Boy’ in the group was. We think it’s Shane Helms without question but there should be an official answer.
- While other groups argue over who’s the Michaels and who’s the Jannetty, a 3 Count reunion will have them arguing over who is the Justin Timberlake of the group. It’s gotta be between Shane and Shannon. Evan Karagis, you’re the Chris Kirkpatrick. Sorry, Bro.
