Brock and Big Show weren’t the only ones visiting hell that night. It must have felt like a personal hell for Brad Maddox. He surprised the MSG audience by competing! He was then surprised by his opponent: Mark Henry!
If he could pick up his head, Brad Maddox would hold it high. He probably thinks he held his own against The World’s Strongest Man. He didn’t. But we enjoyed it anyway.
While Maddox was stuck between a Mark and a Hard Place, Seth Rollins was in a similar position. In the main event, he faced John Cena in a Cage Match for the US Title. Both Cena and Rollins pulled out all the stops to try to win this match. Cena did a top rope bulldog, driving Seth’s head down into the mat.
Seth dragged Cena’s face across the cage.
Both men fought atop the cage, trading blows.
But it wasn’t until Seth’s opponent for Hell in a Cell made an appearance that Seth was truly in Hell. Kane showed up, preventing Seth from climbing out of the cage. That gave Cena enough of an opening to hit the Attitude Adjustment and get the win. But that also left a prone Rollins for Kane. He reminded Kane: Hell has yet to come.
