John Cena talks about his match with Randy Orton, saying they both went through hell, but he ended up earning the right to face Brock Lesnar. Cena says when Brock Lesnar decides to come back to WWE, he will be here.

John Cena says unlike Brock Lesnar, who sits at home thinking he’s a champion, Cena is fighting like a champion. Cena claims next time Brock Lesnar faces him, Lesnar will lose. Cena says everything he does from now on will be a message to Brock Lesnar, then segways into his match tonight with Seth Rollins. Cena says he will give Rollins a first class wake-up call and that if Seth Rollins is the future, he will go through The Future.

Stephanie McMahon has a business proposition for John Cena. Stephanie tells Cena that he works too hard to pander to the WWE Universe. Stephanie mocks the San Antonio Spurs, then tells Cena that he doesn’t have to do pander. John Cena tells Stephanie that he’s not pandering, he’s listening.

Stephanie McMahon asks John Cena if he hears when the people chant “Cena Sucks.” Stephanie tries to continue her proposition, but gets cut off by a “Cena” chant. Stephanie mocks how moving that is for John Cena, then reminds Cena that most of the time, they’re rooting against him.

Stephanie McMahon tells John Cena that the WWE Universe doesn’t matter and that they only care about Cena tearing himself and others apart. Stephanie makes a plea for John Cena to join The Authority, saying that he could come to a place where he is loved, appreciated and respected. After a loud “NO” chant, Stephanie tries to entice Cena further, by hinting at the idea of The Authority insuring that they could guarantee a victory for John Cena against Brock Lesnar.

Stephanie McMahon brings up Survivor Series again, saying that his match against Seth Rollins could be where the winner is the Captain of Team Authority. Stephanie tells Cena he deserves to be treated with respect and part of a family. Cena tells Stephanie that all he deserves is a chance to come down the ring, and tell the WWE Universe how much he loves doing this. Cena says he and the WWE Universe are all in this together and that he is here in the WWE for them.

Stephanie McMahon tells John Cena that joining The Authority will ensure his legacy, because when he’s gone, the WWE Universe won’t care or remember John Cena. Cena says the WWE Universe would remember him as a low-life sellout punk, which something he never was and never will be. Cena tells Stephanie “Hell No.”

Triple H interrupts John Cena and Stephanie McMahon.

Triple H mocks John Cena’s “Hero” attitude, then reminds him that although Cena has been in the WWE for 12 years, Triple H has been here for 20, and it gets harder every year. Triple H says Cena is starting to eek by every night and that he’s hanging on by a thread.

Triple H tells John Cena he can’t fight The Future and the Future is coming, whether he likes it or not. Triple H says it doesn’t have to be hard for him now or in the future. Triple H says Cena could make it easy on himself, or become the beat up old shell of himself that comes in for one last hurrah.

Triple H tells John Cena that maybe he will have to prove to him that he can’t stop the Future. Triple H says The Authority will make an example out of him. Triple H announces Team Authority vs. Team John Cena, then tells Cena to find people who are brave enough to support him against The Authority.
