But even this year, accountants are getting into the YES! Movement. Commercials for TaxSlayer used Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries” in a run of their ads.

Sure, it was made by German Composer Wagner but these days, it’s the anthem for Daniel Bryan. That first lilt makes your ears perk up and your fingers flex in anticipation of pointing skyward.

Not only do the people at TaxSlayer know that but so does H&R Block. They also used “Ride of the Valkyries” in their “Get Your Billion Back” tax refund commercials.

You can just see accounts across this land everywhere doing their best Daniel Bryan: full beards sprouted overnight, doing complicated math without a calculator, giving those deductions a solid knee plus. There’s still time to file, everyone! If not, better get that extension.
