Roddy Piper introduces Piper’s Pit on Old School RAW. Piper reminds everyone that he was old school, before Old School was cool. Before Piper can continue talking, he is interrupted by The Shield.
Dean Ambrose asks who gave this “old man” a microphone, then tells Ambrose that The Shield wasn’t going to stand around while Piper rambled on. Ambrose tells Piper that he should be thanking God that The Shield wasn’t around in Piper’s day, because if they were, Piper wouldn’t have made it to 112 years old.
Roddy Piper tells Dean Ambrose that no one gave him a microphone, he took it. Piper reminds Ambrose that this is Piper’s Pit and NOT Ambrose’s Alley. Piper says he has been beaten up in the past, but there is only one guy that can match him on the microphone and his name is CM Punk. A loud CM Punk chant breaks out as Piper screams Punk in Ambrose’s face. Ambrose almost snaps on Piper, but Seth Rollins calms him down.

Seth Rollins tells Roddy Piper that he appreciates his efforts, but it’s not 1985 anymore. Rollins claims The Shield is too smart for Piper’s tactics and that there are no cracks in The Shield. Rollins claims Piper is jealous because Dean Ambrose is a better U.S. Champion than Piper ever was. Piper says Rollins may be right, but he knows something for sure, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, one-on-one, were unable to beat CM Punk.
Roddy Piper turns his attention to Roman Reigns, then punches Reigns’ cheek.
Roddy Piper tells Roman Reigns that he’s fighting Punk tonight, so if he beats Punk, wouldn’t that make Reigns better than The Shield. Piper says that if Reigns does this, it would be a crack in The Shield. Piper starts saying “crack” Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins tell Reigns not to listen to him.

Backstage: Daniel Bryan explains his actions to The Wyatt Family, saying he wanted to join the family to learn and become a man and a monster. Bryan says not only can he learn, but he can also teach.
