The Summer has been a little emptier without VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live with Carrie Keagan. We had gotten used to Carrie Keagan and her band of cohorts – Jason Dundas, Janell Snowden and Jim Shearer – waking us up every morning with the latest news, trends and musings. Especially the way they would incorporate wrestling for seemingly their own amusement. Why else would you have Hulk Hogan go face to chin with mini-Hulk? Or remind Cyndi Lauper of her Rock-n-Wrestling past? We enjoyed watching the Big Morning Buzz gang breakdown the craze that was Fandangoing or the (not so) subtle ways Jim Shearer would give shout-outs to Chris Jericho and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Big Morning Buzz’s Cast of Characters

Before going on summer vacation, Buzz left us with a cliffhanger: Who Shot Carrie Keagan? One of the top suspects was mini-Hulk (who may or may not be former WWE writer Andrew Goldstein). For the record, we do not think he did it; he was too busy flexing and tearing t-shirts. Luckily, we don’t have to wait much longer to find out the culprit. VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live with Carrie Keagan returns today with a new studio and a new schedule: it’ll be 3 hours long live 5 days a week! That means plenty of time to showcase the best and worst of entertainment. That also means plenty of time to insert random wrestling references. Pro Wrestling and Popular Culture? We can’t wait!
