When WWE announced Great Balls Of Fire, the name was met with plenty of eyerolls and laughter. We couldn’t believe WWE would actually go through with a name like this.
Then they actually went through with the name.
Silly name aside, Great Balls Of Fire is stacked with a Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in an Ambulance Match, a Tag Team Ironman Match with The Hardy Boyz and Sheamus and Cesaro for the WWE Tag Team Championship, Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss for the Women’s Championship and the huge main event of Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.
Even though the card and build have been solid, that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with the name. A few months ago, we poked fun at WWE using songs like Great Balls Of Fire with the hashtag #WWEPPVNames. Here are some of the best ones.
