It was an interesting week in WWE.
The Miz continued to be tormented by Ambear
Lana actually had a few tricks up her sleeve dress
And Asuka and Nikki Cross may be dead.
With Money In The Bank just hours away, guaranteed to give us some classic moments to talk about, what were the moments of RAW and SmackDown Live?
For RAW, it wasn’t the return of Emma (Although we loved it)
Or the awkward Bayley interview and hug.
Or The Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus and Cesaro in a time limit draw.
It was Samoa Joe continuing to one-up Brock Lesnar!
After last week’s attack on Paul Heyman, Heyman boasted that Brock Lesnar will be at RAW to confront Samoa Joe. Lesnar did indeed show up for work that day, but he was quickly introduced to Samoa Joe.
While the fight ended in a pull-apart brawl. We’re excited to see what Joe does next.
Meanwhile, on SmackDown Live, The Blue Brand moved forward with their go-home show for Money In The Bank. While the show ended with Shinsuke Nakamura on top of the ladder holding a Money In The Bank briefcase, what was the moment of the show?
It wasn’t Breezango and New Day’s new dance moves.
Or Randy Orton catching WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, from Outta Nowhere.
Or the return of Zack Ryder.
It was Sami Zayn…finally finding a friend!
Usually, when Sami Zayn tries to make friends, it’s met with resistance.
Or confusion.
But this time it was a little different. After Sami Zayn’s passionate rant, AJ Styles looked to Shinsuke Nakamura for disapproval of the Ned Flanders of the WWE. But Shinsuke actually didn’t mind Zayn’s enthusiasm.
While Sami Zayn didn’t win AJ Styles over, he at least has a friend in Shinsuke Nakamura!
We don’t usually do the moment of NXT, but if you didn’t see the previous gif of Asuka and Nikki Cross, just know that somewhere in the universe, they’re still fighting.
