Last night, WWE made its return to the states and New Jersey as the RAW brand planted the seeds for their next WWE Network Event, Extreme Rules. RAW General Manager, Kurt Angle, announced that since Braun Strowman was injured, the winner of an upcoming Fatal Five-Way Match at Extreme Rules, will be next in line to face Brock Lesnar. These are the participants:
The matches of the night featured Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor
and Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt (With Samoa Joe getting involved again)
But what was the moment of RAW?
Was it Kurt Angle’s French Speaking Abilities?
Or Alexa Bliss?
Or Alexa Bliss? (Not a typo)
As great at those moments were, none of them were the moment of the night.
The moment of RAW was…
The Golden Truth Breakup!
If you’ve been following our site, you know that we are NOT R-Truth fans. We weren’t R-Truth and Kofi fans. R-Truth and JoMo fans. Awesome Truth fans. And we definitely weren’t Golden Truth fans. Every one of R-Truth’s WWE Partners has suffered being with him like he is a cone of ignorance. So it was very satisfying to see Goldust break free from that ignorance. We can only hope Goldust shows more viciousness, like his Bullet Club Brother, Cody Rhodes.
We could talk about it all day. We could do futures on R-Truth beatdowns all week, but we’d much rather show you the video. It’s Goldust’s best work in years.
Thank You, Goldust! And we’ll see you next week for another Groin Grabbingly Good RAW Moment.
