Rusev and Lana pay tribute to John Cena:
Lana says despite what the masses think, Rusev is proud to fast John Cena at Fast Lane and Cena should be proud to face Rusev. Lana says John Cena has accomplished great things in WWE and his “Never Give Up” Attitude has made him a fighting champion in WWE. Rusev and Lana want to recognize John Cena’s career tonight. Rusev and Lana show a John Cena “Lowlights” Video.
Lana says 13 years is long time and wonders how John Cena can keep going. Lana says Cena must be hurting and inside he must be vulnerable. Lana thinks Cena is a man at his limits, waiting for annihilation.
Rusev starts to taunt John Cena until he gets “What” chants. Rusev tells the WWE Universe nt to what him because he’s a hero. Rusev says that Cena’s fighting spirit has left him and now that he is weak and nothing. Rusev vows to break John Cena’s body and crush his spirit at Fast Lane.

John Cena says might be half blind and but not death. Cena talks about Rusev’s taunts and claims that John Cena is broken down. Cena brings up Rusev thinking he’s unbeatable, then asks if that is true, why are they haivng a match at Fast Lane. Cena says the reason they’re having a match is because he wants them to shut up.

John Cena calls Rusev a Super Athlete, but at Fast Lane they’re gonna find out if he’s tough. Cena says Rusev picked a fight with the wrong old man, because this old man is going to whoop his ass.
Rusev mocks John Cena’s eye injury saying that he can’t even see him. Rusev says at WWE Fast Lane, he is going to crush him.

Heyman mentions the Brian Williams scandal, then says Brian isn’t the number one liar in the land. Heyman says the biggest liars are Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.
Paul Heyman brings up the stipulation of Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane, then says if Reigns and Bryan think they can beat Brock Lesnar, they’re lying to their family, friends, fans and themselves.
Paul Heyman talks about Roman Reigns’ heritage calling him a bad dude in the baddest tribe of all Samoa, then mentions the face to face confrontation between Lesnar and Heyman. Heyman claims Reigns had a “Yellow streak” running down his leg, and it wasn’t pineapple juice.

Paul Heyman says Daniel Bryan has lied to himself thinking he has a chance against Brock Lesnar. Heyman asks the WWE Universe if Bryan has a chance against Lesnar. After a mixed reaction, Heyman praises Daniel Bryan’s wrestling and technical abilities and says Bryan has found a way to pull of miracles that even he and Lesnar couldn’t do. Heyman asks the WWE Unvierse again about Daniel Bryan and if he is the one to beat the one in 21-1 and is met with another mixed reaction.

Paul Heyman says it doesn’t matter who wins at Fast Lane because the winner of the match should hop in a helecopter with Brian Williams and subject themselves to enemy fire. Heyman says that enemy fire is coming in the form of an F5, which will take that chopper down straight in the middle of the ring at Wrestlemania. Bryan is about to answer what he thinks about he and Reigns working together tonight. Reigns says Damn Right they will. Reigns brings up their common enemy: The Authority and says once they get rid of the Authority, it’s the two of them at Fast Lane.
Backstage: Goldust and Stardust get into an argument. Goldust tells Stardust that this is Dustin talking to Cody.
After the shove, Stardust tells Goldust to not call him that and that Cody is dead.
