Dean Ambrose calls out John Cena:
Dean Ambrose says something has been bothering him lately, and it’s John Cena, who has been up in his face. Ambrose says Cena is his partner tonight, just like he thought Cena was his partner on Smackdown, then reminds the WWE Universe about John Cena leaving Ambrose by himself to face Randy Orton and Kane.
Dean Ambrose reminds the WWE Universe that he told John Cena not to give him a reason not to like him. Ambrose tells Cena that he’s trying real hard, so before they face The Authority, he wants Cena to come out to the ring so they can settle this. John Cena comes down to ringside.
John Cena thanks the WWE Universe for a “Brooklyn Introduction” then plays around with the boos for him and the cheers for Dean Ambros. Cena reminds the WWE Universe of Dean Ambrose’s vow to do anything to get his hands on Seth Rollins and Ambrose attacking Cena earlier in the night. Cena says if the WWE Universe understands Dean Ambrose’s actions, then they understand Cena’s actions as well.
John Cena starts to walk away, but Dean Ambrose agrees he would do the same thing to Cena, because he doesn’t give a crap about him. Dean Ambrose says John Cena doesn’t give a crap about him either, but one thing they have in common is that they don’t care what anyone thinks of them.
Dean Ambrose tells Cena that now that it’s out in the open, maybe they can co-exist. But if not, Ambrose has no problem dropping Cena right now and facing The Authority by himself.

John Cena gets back in the ring and reminds Dean Ambrose that the last time Ambrose did that, The Authority put his head through cinderblocks. Cena tells Ambrose that he has the guts to say and do whatever he wants. Cena tells Ambrose that he also has no problem dropping him where he stands, and tells Ambrose not to give him a reason not to like him.
John Cena and Dean Ambrose have a staredown until Dean Ambrose says he’s hungry.
Dean Ambrose tells Cena that he’s going to leave, get on the Q Train, go down to Coney Island for a hot dog. Then, he’s going to check out the Cyclone and Wonderwheel. Ambrose wishes Cena luck tonight then walks off.

Backstage: John Cena walks by until Triple H mocks his “Champ Is Here” catchphrase.
Triple H tries to get in John Cena’s head, reminding him that Dean Ambrose would rather get a hot dog, than team with John Cena and Main Event RAW. Triple H tells Cena that he feels bad that he’s going to be in a handicap match by himself, and knows Cena will have the Cenation, but he still feels bad.
John Cena tells Triple H that he knows he’s trying to protect Seth Rollins at all cost, but tonight, there will be a point where Seth Rollins can’t get away. Cena has no problems going through Kane and Randy Orton to get to Seth Rollins. Triple H says he has always admired Cena’s resolve, and tells Cena that Seth Rollins will start the match with John Cena, just so Cena can get a piece of Rollins. Triple H wishes Cena luck then mockingly reminds him to Keep Calm and Never Give Up.
